One fine morning, two gossips and Koh from Prague drive out. They're headed to the Radioactivity Research Institute. It's clear from the bus that it's going to be an interesting ride. Two whiny gossips who won't stop arguing, yelling, kicking, jerking, well, they won't stop. Sitting next to them is the quiet, not-so-talkative Koh. Together, the trio make a perfect "Jing-Yang". We've reached the village where the building is located. It's across the road and in the woods. We cross the busy road after waiting for a while, and all we have to do is take the "quiet and peaceful"... show more One fine morning, two gossips and Koh from Prague drive out. They're headed to the Radioactivity Research Institute. It's clear from the bus that it's going to be an interesting ride. Two whiny gossips who won't stop arguing, yelling, kicking, jerking, well, they won't stop. Sitting next to them is the quiet, not-so-talkative Koh. Together, the trio make a perfect "Jing-Yang". We've reached the village where the building is located. It's across the road and in the woods. We cross the busy road after waiting for a while, and all we have to do is take the "quiet and peaceful" path through the forest, which will be as "short" as possible. That's what we think. Instead, we encounter a prickly thicket, or green mess. A few scratches and bumps later, we reach the green wall. What we didn't know is that the prickly spruce is followed by a long tall bramble. Unlike the spruces, there are blackberries in the brambles (at least in summer). So, after many brief pauses (initiated by the gossip), we get beyond the second wall of forest flora. After another belt of spruces, a grey bunker appears in front of us. We walk around it until we find the main entrance (I had information that the entrance is through the main entrance) It is actually ironic that the concrete building that has my bars and big metal door on it and looks like the most guarded place in the region, has its main door shaded.... After a slight smile, we get inside. Koh, a lover of industrial, can be beside himself with happiness, slowly walking through the first room and looking at everything he can. Meanwhile, the gossipers scurry around the building, falling into holes or groping the whitened tubes. (It's been about 3months and the 3rd hand is nowhere to be found yet) After Koh gently shouts at us, we group up into a bunch and walk through together. We look at all sorts of weights, boxes, and various pumpers (as Koh instructed us, Capacitors, Trafo, and other capacitors). After a lot of pumpernickels and weights, we come to a room with a room full of whitewashed test tubes. I warn the other gossip that she probably shouldn't touch them without gloves, but Koh replies in a deep bell-like voice, "I found something here you shouldn't touch" and points to two deep holes with hooks hanging over them, as we learned from Koh, Tubs in which various elements and who knows what else were stored. We quickly reach the building, where, apart from various books such as Lucy and Bunny or 50 Shades of Grey, there is nothing we haven't seen before. And so we leave and go back to Prague. In retrospect, I want to thank Koh for not throwing us into those vans (from which we would have scratched ourselves pretty badly) and overall for sticking it out with us. I also want to thank him for giving us a very physically comprehensive lecture. Because we are definitely not physics lovers (I wish we were, since we are slowly falling out of it, but that's a story for another time)

Jednoho krásného rána vyjíždějí dvě drbny a Koh z prahy. Mají namířeno do Výzkumného ústavu radioaktivity. Už v buse je jasné že to bude zajímavá jízda. Dvě uječené drbny co se nepřestávaj hádat, ječet, kopat, škubat, no zkrátka nezastaví se. Vedle nich sedí klidný ne moc mluvný Koh. Trio společně tvoří dokonalý "Jing-Jang". Dojeli jsme do vesnice u které se budova nachází. Má to ale problém, je přes silnici a ještě k tomu v lese. Rušnou silnici po chvíli čekání přejdeme, a čeká nás jen "klidná a tichá" cesta lesem která bude co "nejkratší" to jen jde. To si alespoň myslíme. Místo toho narážíme na pichlavý hustník, neboli zelenej bordel. O několik škrábanců a bebíček později se dostáváme za zelenou hradbu. Co jsme ale netušili je, že pichlavýma smrčkama následuje dloouhé vysoké ostružiní. Narozdíl od smrčků, v ostružiní jsou (alespoň v létě) ostružiny. Takže se po mnoha krátkých pauzách (z iniciativy drben) dostáváme i za druhou hradbu lesní flóry. Po dalším pásu smrčků se před námi objeví šedivý bunkr. Ten obcházíme až nacházíme hlavní vchod (měl jsem informace že vlez je právě přes hlavní vchod) Je vlastně paradoxní, že betonová budova co na sobě mé mříže a velké kovové dveře a vypadá jako nejvíc střežené místo v kraji, má odenčené hlavní dveře.... Po lehkém úsměvu se dostáváme dovnitř. Koh, milovník industriálů, může být štěstím bez sebe, pomalu prochází první místností a prohlíží si všechno možné. Mezitím drbny se rozutíkávají po budově a padaj do děr nebo osahávají nabělalé zkumavky. (Už to je asi 3měsíce a 3. ruka zatim nikde) Potom co nás Koh něžně okřikne, se uskupujeme do partičky a procházíme spolu. Koukáme na všechny možné závaží, krabičky a různé pumprlíky (jak nás Koh poučil, Kondenzátory, Trafo, a jiné kondenzátory). Po mnoha pumprlíkách a závažích se dostáváme k místnosti s nabělalýma zkumavkama. Upozorňuji druhou drbnu, že by se jich bez rukavic asi neměla dotýkat, ale na to Koh odpoví hlubokym hlasem jako zvon: "Tady jsem našel něco čeho byste se neměli dotýkat" a ukáže na dvě hluboké díry, nad kterýma visí háky, jak jsme se od Koha dozvěděli, Vany ve kterých se skladovali různé prvky a kdo ví co všechno ještě. Rychle doprovíháme budovu, kde krom různých knížek jako: Lucinka a Zajíček nebo 50 odstínů šedi, neni něco co bysme už neviděli. A tak odcházíme a jedeme zpět do Prahy. Zpětně chci poděkovat Kohovi že nás nehodil do těch van (ze kterých bysme se škrábali doost blbě) a celkově za to že to s náma vydržel. Taky mu chci poděkovat za pro nás fyzikálně velmi obsáhlou přednášku. Protože my se rozhodně mezi milovníky fyziky neřadíme (Ještě aby jo, když z ní pomalu propadáme, ale to je příběh na jindy)
