...and that of the ground troops of the Soviet Central Group, as we approach the 33rd anniversary of the departure of the last of the "temporary" Soviet occupiers... There's not much left to see here, thanks to the Czechs' unwilling hands, but maybe you'll find it as interesting as I did when I discovered it. A compound full of earth shelters, with semi-closed office buildings, a telephone exchange, under which there is a hardened shelter for the commanders and signalmen, a canteen, a boiler room, and lots of asphalt roads with the necessary trenches for heavy equipment at every intersection.
