The railway rotunda with the beautifully preserved rafters of the Polonceau system, which had a chance to become a museum and come to life again after decades, is instead just a source of iron for the homeless, thanks to the struggle of Czech Railways, which not only resisted the sale but also successfully filed a case against the declaration of the building as a cultural monument. During its existence, it has undergone the expansion of 4 stalls to ten, or the installation of a longer turntable during the war so that the Krauts could turn their kriegslokomotive here. Perhaps the bumper pockets on one of the gates are a memento of just depositing them here.
