In 1907, a sugar refinery was built on the site of the 1870 sugar refinery. The three-storey building with a sprinkler tower is supported by a reinforced concrete skeleton, one of the first in the Czech lands. During the First World War, the production fell into crisis, and in 1917, with the help of Živnobanka, the company was incorporated, with minimal participation of the owners. And after the war, of course, it was stolen, or nationalised, and then gradually became part of several national companies.
