After the Munich Agreement in the autumn of 1938, the loss of territory also cut off important transport arteries, and the construction of new backbone roads became increasingly important. By the end of 1938, a detailed design of the Prague-Brno-Slovakia motorway was drawn up, of which these bridges were to be a part. They are separated by an unfinished hill cut, although a road embankment already leads to them in the forest.
