Liberec Region, Česká Lípa District,

Not much remains of the 1885 mechanical weaving mill of varied goods after 2017, when the city had to demolish it at its own expense because loose beams threatened the busy road. The looms, which numbered up to 280, powered by two Francis turbines, fell silent here during the Great Depression of the 1930s. During the war, the Reich produced work clothes here, and the garments remained here after the war. Production finally ceased after 2000. Apart from the outer walls of the ground floor of the hall, all that remains is the boiler room with the dining room, which is extremely photogenic, and the kitchen with the office, where the floor is covered with patterns, for example for Icelandic firefighters and laundry samples.
