A farm was also established at the hospital, which was initially oriented towards providing agricultural products for the institute. The development of the farm was helped by the introduction of work treatment for patients in 1925, which also had a positive effect on the health of the patients. Today, the institute no longer produces or treats. The farm is derelict and the greenhouses, including the one rented by the cactus collector Kája Mařík, are dilapidated.
