Fort XV

Fort XV is one of the forts of the fortress system built in the 19th century to protect the city. It was part of the so-called fortress line, which was intended for defence against a possible enemy. This fort was built as part of the military reconstruction of the city fort after 1850. Today it is abandoned and mostly not open to the public.
