StEG also built a locomotive depot on the lowest level of its site with two identical, four-track sheds on a 22 x 70 metre footprint. After steam traction ceased in the 1970s, both served as a draw for government cars. The depot also included a functional waterworks, built in the mid-level track, which served the operation of the amply sized repair shops. Trolleys were still hanging by their north frontage after the switching yard, and an apprenticeship centre stood with the ZOSKA symbol. The carriageway was surrounded by industries such as the torch factory, saddlery, or sanitation dormitories and, on the first floor, the line's boar shed.
